About me and my artwork

My artist name is Nikoo, and I am a Ph.D. chemist who loves art.
Amidst the rigors of a scientific career, I discovered solace and inspiration in the world of art. The canvas became a laboratory of creativity, and what started as an exploration soon transformed into a profound artistic venture.
Motivated by the overwhelmingly positive feedback received for my artwork in a relatively short period, the decision was made to transcend the physical constraints of traditional galleries. In 2024, I unveiled a virtual gallery, a digital space that invites art lovers into a realm where scientific curiosity and artistic expression converge. This virtual sanctuary shares the joy of handmade painting with the world.

Mixed-media

Mixed media describes the artwork in which more than one medium or material has been employed. Materials used to create mixed media art include, but are not limited to, paint, cloth, paper, wood, and found objects.

Material

The most used materials in my works are Canvas, oil, Acrylic paints, Resin, different modeling Pastes, Gold and silver leaf, Metallic powders, Wood, and other decorative accessories such as Mirror and Glitter.

Why my artwork

Each of my paintings is a handmade original – not a print, not a reproduction, machine-pressed, or anything like that. I work with oil and acrylic paints, and mixed media on high-quality canvases, creating unique pieces that bring depth, warmth, and atmosphere to any space.
Perfect for homes, offices, hotels, and restaurants – every artwork adds a special touch of character and individuality.
